Austin police seek public help identifying two suspects in an aggravated robbery tied to bachelorette group

What investigators say happened
Austin police are asking for the public’s help identifying two people accused of participating in an aggravated robbery in the downtown area in the early morning hours of July 19, 2025. The case remains under investigation, and no arrests were announced in the department’s public request for information.
Police said the incident happened at about 2:10 a.m. and began with a verbal dispute involving several women who were in Austin for a bachelorette celebration. Investigators said a female suspect then assaulted one of the women and that property was taken before the suspects fled.
Suspect descriptions released by police
Police described the suspects and released photographs as part of the effort to identify them.
Suspect 1: Hispanic female, estimated 25 to 40 years old, with tattoos on one arm, both thighs and the side of her torso. Police said she was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jean shorts and gray-and-white Nike shoes.
Suspect 2: Black male, estimated 30 to 40 years old, described as 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet 1 inch tall with a stocky build and a tattoo on an arm. Police said he was last seen wearing a white Jordan T-shirt, blue jeans and gray shoes.
Vehicle information
Investigators said the suspects left the area in a light-colored van or SUV. No license plate information or additional vehicle details were included in the public alert.
