APD issues request for assistance in locating missing adult

The Austin Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public’s help in locating Tracy Jeff, a 51-year-old woman who was last seen in northwest Austin on Saturday, January 24, 2026.

Police said Jeff was last seen in the 8200 block of North FM 620 Road. Investigators reported she was observed walking from her apartment in that area toward a nearby Whataburger. Family members and apartment staff have been unable to reach her since that day.

What police say is known so far

In a public notice released February 6, 2026, police stated that Jeff’s phone was found inside her apartment. Police also said her car is no longer in the apartment parking lot. Detectives noted mental health concerns and said they are concerned for her immediate welfare.

Case number: 26-0330850. Last seen: January 24, 2026, in the 8200 block of North FM 620 Road.
